2016: Day 180

My signed book haul from the ALA conference. :D
It was pretty incredible.

2016: Day 179

My little doofus has spent the day napping. All that time running around her grandma and grandpa's house must have worn her out. :)

2016: Day 178

Snuggle time with my snuggle buddies. ❤️

2016: Day 177

Our little group of youth services librarians. Thank you Spectrum for all of the amazing opportunities and experiences we got to have this weekend. I feel so blessed to be a part of this cohort. #alaspectrum

2016: Day 173

I ended my last shift at the Champaign Public Library hours before hopping on a plane to Orlando. I will miss my fine-exempt staff library card, but will relish forgetting the locker combination I never could get quite right.
(For yesterday.)

2016: Day 172

For Tuesday, a long and a hard day. In which I both picked him up and dropped him off at the airport.
Still, in this moment I was glad to have him beside me.
To meeting again in happier times.

2016: Day 171

My coworker made me going away cookies. ❤️
I am going to miss working with such great people.

2016: Day 170

Last Friday was my last day at the Douglass Branch Library for a little while. The staff there threw me a little going away party, with cake and a card and this cool new bag. I have lots of leftover cake and my heart is very warm. :)
(For yesterday.)

2016: Day 169

She had no interest in getting her nails cut.
"Claws? What claws?"

2016: Day 168

I found this awesome little flyer at work today. I was from 1996, and it answered questions like: What can I even do on the Internet? ("Make travel reservations at any time of the day or night.") What computer specifications do I need? (11MB of free disk space and 8MB of RAM.) And, how much is the Internet going to cost me? (5 free hours a month and then $2.50 for every additional hour.)
Who would have guessed what our lives would be like 20 years later.

2016: Day 167

I saw this street art on my way to work this evening. I have been working quite a bit lately, but soon my hours will be shrinking.

2016: Day 161

Hooray for trash TV and yarn-type crafts with these two! :D

2016: Day 160

I spent some time stalking this duck today.
I wanted to be his friend, but he was not interested.

2016: Day 159

This is my very happy face.
I am overwhelmingly excited to announce that, as of today, I am now the youth services grad assistant at the Urbana Free Library!
(I knew that interview went well. :D)

2016: Day 158

We were apart a lot last month, but now we are back to our regularly scheduled nap times.

2016: Day 154

Time for another exciting addition of "Is that library material still relevant?"
I think that my weeding skills will be greatly strengthened this summer.

2016: Day 153

My "I had an interview today and I think it went well" face.
(I take too many selfies in my car.)
