Due to a complication in which Sarah Leaffer and I could not attend our desired movie, we ended up going to the last Harry Potter film instead. Ruining it for myself, I'm sure. Still, even with very little previous Harry Potter experience, I cried like a little baby.

The boys and I went on a hike with friends today. 

We, almost literally, stumbled upon the perfect carcass of this little nightmare creature. 

Which, of course, had to be picture of the day since my insect-photo-days always come in pairs.

In which Monty and I take pictures of bees and I learn that dragonflies drink fire for breakfast and "eat people for lunch!" ^_^

I went back to work today, but I had to cancel plans for afterward because I started to feel pretty ill.
I came home and napped for a long time, I feel much better now.
Thus was my thrilling day.

But this is no mere cat. It is Jeremiah's cat. She started showing up on our porch and would only come near him.

At not yet 7 this morning I received a call from one Keith and one other Taversia informing me that, as a photographer, I should be taking pictures since the sky was looking particularly lovely. ^_^

And it was, in this soft buttery morning way. 

I'm sure it was more visible from wherever they were, and I only half captured it, but this photo explains my day pretty well I think.
