2014: Day 242

Filling in for a child at the 4th St. Arts Fair mini-performance of Monkey Magic. I'm Assistant-to-the-Director-ing this show and you should come see it at the end of September. It is a fun show starring a great group of kids.

2014: Day 241

For yesterday: This tree seems to have pre-made a nest for birds.

2014: Day 240

What happens when you put an (empty) chip bag into a microwave. Notice the explosion holes.

2014: Day 239

I did the ice bucket challenge today! Although in this case it was more of an ice mixing bowl.

2014: Day 238

I have to read and analyze a Harlequin romance novel in a class this semester, so I went out and bought this one. I hope it is as cheesy as it looks.

2014: Day 237

My first day of Senior year was kind of lonely. At least I will have lots of time to work on homework.

2014: Day 236

A slow last day of the summer. There is still a severed head in my backseat. I hope I don't get pulled over.

2014: Day 235

The dragon eggs that I made for the Game of Thrones party. :) It was a success.
(For yesterday.)

2014: Day 231

My conception of the world was a bit skewed at 10 years old.

A giant leaf found on the sidewalk.
Come at me, last week of the summer, I am ready for you.

2014: Day 229

A funny moment in a hard day, Jake decides between large and comically large. (For yesterday.)

2014: Day 228

2014: Day 226

We are Night Vale interns. I am ascending into heaven, Rita is confused, and Shaina is already dead.

2014: Day 225

The trails of light two cars left behind.

2014: Day 224

For yesterday. I went to Jacob's second grade open house. He made this book all about himself and received the first star student award of the year. :)

2014: Day 223

Why does the circus peanut exist? It is neither circus nor peanut. It is unusual in texture and even stranger in taste. The circus peanut thinks itself its own genre of candy, on par with a licorice or a dinner mint, but it is fooling itself, and it is full of lies.

2014: Day 222

For yesterday, my first day as a hedgehog-sitter. :D

2014: Day 221

Slow day. Recovery day.
Oh how simple life would be as a lichen on a tree.

2014: Day 220

Today I said goodbye to my Great-Grandma Fern. I love you Grandma, and I will miss you so much.

2014: Day 219

My boyfriend, the giraffe.

Thursday, August 7, 2014

2014: Day 218

My mom's delicious welcome home cheesecake for my sister. :) (For yesterday.)

Wednesday, August 6, 2014

2014: Day 217

For yesterday, a sad day, made a little bit better with crackers and cheese.

2014: Day 214

Jake plays in a bounce house that is much too small for him at his family's annual summer party.

2014: Day 213

After a very long night of packing and unpacking, Jake is finally moved out. Goodbye not-my-house, thanks for the memories.

2014: Day 212

Goodbye to Simone, and to Pimp-Lion Jones. Happy travels and good luck to your futures! :D (Especially you, Pimp-Lion.)

2014: Day 211

For yesterday, the chillest velvet-covered van on the block.
