2011: Day 151

Heh, heh, heh. I know, this is exactly what everyone was hoping for. But don't worry, I'm pretty sure these are the exact flowers from a day ago, so really it isn't "more flowers".
(I'm still working on those essays.)

2011: Day 150

Let it never be said that my brothers are not cool. They are the coolest.

2011: Day 149

More flowers.
I spent most of the day working on essays for a scholarship application.

2011: Day 148

A basket of yellow fruits. Just because.
(I'm babysitting tonight. :D Hooray for doing stuff outside the house!)

2011: Day 146

Pictures of destruction.
(In which I feel the full weight of loneliness while my town suffers through a much more dangerous malady.)

2011: Day 145

We have spent a bunch of time running in and out of the basement today.
It's tornado weather.

2011: Day 144

Some damage from last night's short storm.
My dad took me to take pictures. It was my second time leaving the house in 12 days.
(The first was last night. -_-)

2011: Day 143

In some odd phenomenon, a candle burns straight down without a holder.

2011: Day 142

It's new beginnings for a broken limb in my backyard. It fell in the ice storm, but now it's growing back branches.

2011: Day 141

The day of the Rapture that wasn't.

It's difficult to belong to a generation that is constantly being told that our world is going to end.
It's all well and good for 89 year old men to stand on their soapboxes and talk about judgment day, but maybe I want to discover love and have fat babies and grow old too.

2011: Day 140

My chicken pox smile back at me.
For all the horror I possesed at my appearance for the last several days, today I found my deformity hilarious.
(My face is so much grosser than this though!)

2011: Day 139

Thank you to Jessica, who not only took this picture, but also made this emotionally accurate mask to preserve my vanity.
(I'm actually feeling a lot better today.)

2011: Day 137

I am reminded of the story about a little boy who is given a ball of twine that is his own life thread. He is able to snip bits off and skip through the boring or challenging parts. But before he knows it, the ball is very small and he is an old man full of regret.
On days like this one, I'd take some scissors to my own ball of twine.

2011: Day 136

Jessica and Jacob made this Time Machine yesterday, but tinkered with it today.
I think it's pretty great.

2011: Day 135

This photograph of one small, wet baby groundhog marks my 500th "picture of the day".

2011: Day 134

Sleepers sleeps, and I get the chicken-pox. >.<

2011: Day 133

My lovely mother and I went out to dinner tonight.
(Unfortunately, she has a daughter that fails miserably at photos in the dark. -_- And who is afraid of her flash.)

2011: Day 132

Jacob is a soccer player too.
(And pretty much the cutest one I've ever seen. ^_^)

[Blogspot is finally back up and running. :D Sorry about the delay.]

2011: Day 131

This is Rodo. He is the best of the best as far as Jacob is concerned.
(He takes many forms. Today fish-Rodo joined Jacob in the bathtub.)

2011: Day 130

Two days of insects! O.O
It's their sort of weather again.

2011: Day 129

"I wish I could be an ant," Jacob tells me.
"Then I could see what ant business is like."

I can't help but agree.

2011: Day 128

Happy Mother's Day.
That's me and my mama.
I love her very, very much.

2011: Day 127

Zaynab is spending the night. They played dress up and then requested my services as photographer. They also would like me to let you know that Jessica is the man in this relationship.
(Oh yeah, and there's the pox.)

2011: Day 126

I mulled over ideas of patriotism.
Was this flag always there?

2011: Day 124

Keith Barrow is a model. Of the kind that Spiderman trees.

(My plans for the day get all switched around and instead we go on urban adventures. Of the bus taking, tree climbing sort.)

2011: Day 122

I went over to Keith and Marsha's and I got to play a bit with this antique medical device. It was like some form of early electro-therapy; a cure-all home device. It was also really cool. ^_^

2011: Day 121

More photoshoots today. :)
(These muscles make my picture from a few days ago look pretty wimpy. :3)
