A very full day of seeing so many people that I love. It's good to be home, even if it is only for a day.

Sometimes things just work out the way that they are supposed to. 

I was mad at myself for having put off taking out the recycling for all of break. Grumpily carting an overflowing box of cans and bottles and papers, I spotted my favorite hat on the ground by our mailboxes. I must have dropped it on my way in from work, and had I not been outside for the recycling I probably would have lost it for good.

I spent a good portion of today being fascinated by this little fun fact. The tendon you see in my wrist is vestigial, it is an evolutionary leftover. And some people don't even have it! Do you?

When I moved away for grad school, I hoped that I would stop being the kind of person who lets clutter build up everywhere. No such luck. Maybe spring break is for spring cleaning.

I got a tiny custom painting of Robin done while at C2E2. 

It was painted by Katie Cook, one of the artists and writers behind the My Little Pony comics that my little brother loves so much. :D
