It's difficult to belong to a generation that is constantly being told that our world is going to end.
It's all well and good for 89 year old men to stand on their soapboxes and talk about judgment day, but maybe I want to discover love and have fat babies and grow old too.
I am reminded of the story about a little boy who is given a ball of twine that is his own life thread. He is able to snip bits off and skip through the boring or challenging parts. But before he knows it, the ball is very small and he is an old man full of regret.
On days like this one, I'd take some scissors to my own ball of twine.

I went over to Keith and Marsha's and I got to play a bit with this antique medical device. It was like some form of early electro-therapy; a cure-all home device. It was also really cool. ^_^
