Today I gave Jacob a bath*. He really is a beautiful child.

(*in a bathing suit. He says that he is "bored with taking a bath naked".)

I'm terribly proud of myself, and I actually enjoyed making it. ^_^

Today I bought spices for tomorrow's dinner. I'm making Chana Masala. It's my first time.

This pretty much made my day.

It's a toasted sesame cracker with fig infused chèvre spread on top. 

So delicious.

I was invited to Zaynab's birthday party, even though I'm so very old. ^_^

They wanted me in the picture too.

(I didn't take this picture, obviously, and it was terrifying. But the person who did was careful and did a nice job.)

While cleaning the basement we found a lot of things we had forgotten. Among them were a rocking chair and a tiny robe. 

Jacob has since become quite a lounger.

I spent almost the entire day editing the wedding pictures from the other day. 

My headphones kept me company.

We went to a birthday party today.
This is Olorun. It wasn't his birthday, but he won "Best Crazy Face".

I'm so happy to be able to start a new year with my camera. :D
